One board for AI staff and your team

The work a call or chat leaves behind becomes one tracked item, with an owner and a next action.

What it is

A shared board, not a silent backend

A call or a chat opens an item on the board AI staff and your team both look at.

  • Each item has one owner at a time: AI staff or a named teammate
  • Notes and the next action stay attached to the item, not scattered across tools
  • Three columns show what AI staff is working, what waits for your team and what is done
  • Anyone can see what happened and who has the item now, without asking

How the work splits

Two workers, one item

The status on the item says whose turn it is next, so the work sits in one place.

What AI staff does

AI staff works the items assigned to it and keeps the queue moving.

  • Opens a new item after a call, chat or follow-up
  • Retries, updates the status, and writes the outcome as a note
  • Hands the item over the moment a person's decision is needed

What your team does

People pick up where AI staff left off, with the full story already attached.

  • Sees the item with its status, notes and next action, no re-asking
  • Approves, redirects or closes the item
  • Sends it back to AI staff for another round if needed
Not the inbox, and not your CRM. Co-chat is where the conversation happens, message by message. Co-Desk is where the work that conversation leaves behind is tracked to a close, as an item with an owner. Neither is a system of record: Connect keeps status and outcome in step with the CRM or support tool your team already runs.
Questions

Before Co-Desk arrives

What teams ask when they first hear about a shared board for AI staff and people.

Is Co-Desk a CRM?+

No. It tracks calls, chats and follow-ups as items with a status, an owner, notes and a next action. Pipeline, contracts and billing stay in the systems that hold them today.

How is it different from Co-chat?+

The customer is in Co-chat, and the unit of work is a message thread. The customer is not in Co-Desk, and the unit of work is an item with an owner, a status and a next action. A thread in Co-chat can leave an item on the board, for example a replacement to ship after a customer reports a missing part.

What is it built on?+

Co-Desk is built on Frappe, an open-source platform. DRING already uses it internally to track work that AI and people share. AI staff and your team work on the same board, with the same statuses and the same items.

Does it replace our CRM or support tools?+

No. It works alongside the systems your team already runs. Connect keeps items and outcomes in sync with them, so nothing lives only on the Co-Desk board.
